Forest Green are without the suspended Alhassan Bangura for the visit of Braintree.
The midfielder was sent off at the weekend as Rovers drew 1-1 with fellow promotion-chasers Luton.
Bangura's 67th-minute dismissal for violent conduct means he will now miss three matches.
Boss Dave Hockaday is hopeful to have Reece Styche available, after the striker was missing at the weekend due to an ankle problem picked up against Wrexham.
Midfielders Kieran Forbes and Jamie Collins both missed the Luton game with knocks and will be monitored ahead of the game.
But Rovers are likely to still be without Stephen Brogan (groin) and Ben Wright (knee) for the trip. The duo are both doubtful to make their return from injury but should both be available for next week's visit of Kidderminster.
Braintree have no new injury problems ahead of the trip.
Apart from veteran midfielder Bradley Quinton, who remains sidelined with a knee injury, Alan Devonshire has a fully-fit squad to choose from.
Goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt has recovered from an ankle problem but is unlikely to dislodge Nathan McDonald from the team.
Sean Marks returned to the side at the weekend after missing the win over Nuneaton due to family reasons, and is expected to continue in attack.
On-loan midfielder Midfielder Aaron Wickham is looking to make his full debut after appearing as a substitute at the weekend following his move from Crawley.
Devonshire is unlikely to make many changes, despite the 2-0 defeat to Hereford, as the Iron look to record a fourth win in six games.
