Sugar Hut boss Mick Norcross is quitting The Only Way Is Essex.
The owner of the Brentwood nightspot said he is leaving the ITV2 reality TV show because he believes increasing number of rows being filmed inside his club is damaging his brand.
Mr Norcross told the Gazette he had been thinking about leaving the show since the end of the last series.
He said: "Recently, whenever the show filmed in the Sugar Hut, 9 times out of 10 there would be a big argument and has become more and more of a problem for me.
"This is not the sort of thing that I want to portray to the public and I found that the Sugar Hut as a brand was becoming damaged."
He added: "I want to show champagne popping and people having fun, not rows."
