A FIRE ripped through a straddle carrier and a large container at Tilbury docks.
Firefighters were altered to a fire in a straddle carrier in Tilbury at 8.35pm yesterday evening (Saturday, March 9).
Crews from Orsett, Grays, Rayleigh Weir and Southend arrived at the scene - where they also found a forty foot container that was "100%" alight.
Two jets were used to put out the blaze - which took nearly two hours to extinguish.
