A police sniffer dog discovered drugs hidden behind the dashboard of a car in Braintree this week.
The vehicle was stopped and searched in Notley Road on Tuesday evening.
A 30-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of class B drugs and using threatening words or behaviour,
He was bailed to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on May 8.
