A PYROTECHNIC display is set to light up the Ongar night sky as part of a Guy Fawkes Night celebration.
Rockets, catherine wheels and Roman candles are likely to be the spectacular stars of the show at the annual fireworks night on November 9.
Organised by the Ongar Round Table, the demonstration of dazzling colour is being performed by professional display team Starburst.
The evening will be held at Chipping Ongar Primary School, in Greensted Road.
There will be plenty of side attractions for all the family, including children's rides, sweets stalls, hot food, popcorn, and a beer tent also serving mulled wine, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
All profits will be divided between the school and charities nominated by Ongar Round Table.
Gates will be open from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and a limited number of cheaper tickets are available in advance, but once sold, tickets will then be available on the door only.
Tickets are available from John Sear Estate Agents in the High Street, Ongar.
Prices in advance are £10 for a family (two adults and two children), £4 for adults and £3 for children.
On the gate prices will be £5 per adult, £3 per child.
There is no public parking on the school grounds except a few spaces for registered disabled drivers.
No dogs will be permitted, except registered guide dogs, and visitors are not allowed bring their own fireworks or sparklers.
The Ongar Round Table also requests that visitors do not purchase glow sticks, sweets and other items from outside the school, because it will affect its ability to raise funds for its chosen charities.
