Police have constructed an e-fit likeness of a man wanted for questioning after lewd remarks were made to two teenage girls in Colchester.
The girls were approached by the man in Lexden Road around 6pm on Tuesday, August 21.
He engaged them in conversation before making a "comment alluding to a lewd act" and walking off towards Spring Lane.
Investigating Officer, Pc Jon Hardy, said: "We have spent the last week interviewing these 14-year-old girls, using specially-trained officers.
"As you can imagine, it was an unusual experience for them but we slowly managed to tease out more information as the week progressed which has now left us in a position to ask for help from local residents in identifying a man.
"We would urge people to look closely at the efit and provide us with a name."
The man is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5ft 6ins, of slim build, with a small round head, short straight dark hair, a large forehead and he spoke with with a local accent.
He was wearing a blue T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and dirty white trainers.
