A PENSIONER had to be cut from his car by firefighters after the vehicle rolled onto its side in Chelmsford.
The accident at just after 5pm this afternoon on Savernake Road left the 88-year-old trapped after the car he was travelling in rolled across the road.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to release the elderly man who was then taken to Broomfield Hospital by paramedics.
