Police want to identify a man who appears to have taken a 'selfie' on a mobile phone stolen from a student in Colchester.
The HTC was taken from the boy's coat pocket as he was walking through Wivenhoe Park in Colchester at 7.30pm on Thursday, April 10.
The man pictured above is described as white and has thick eyebrows.
An in-built security feature was activated on the mobile which then sent the image to the owner's email.
He then subsequently forwarded this on to police officers.
Anyone with information on the identity of this man is urged to contact Pc Joe Self from the Neighbourhood Crime Team at Colchester police station on 101.
