Motorists heading for the M25 can expect some delays in both directions this morning.
Clockwise traffic has built from junction 30 (A13) to the Dartford Crossing.
Anticlockwise there are more delays from junction 27 (M11) to junctiion 25 (A10) through the current roadworks.
In Chelmsford the south bound Colchester Road (A130) has slow moving traffic between the Boreham Interchange & White Hart Lane (Sainsbury's Roundabout).
North bound on the A12 traffic is slow again through junction 18 (Sandon/A414) and junction 19 (Boreham Interchange).
While delays also exist on Westway (A1016) between Robjohns Road and Writtle Road.
Elsewhere Londonbound journeys along the A127 are being held up from the A129 (Rayleigh Weir) to the A1245 Fairglen Interchange.
All mainline and metro line services to and from the capital are all running to plan.
That plan will change from May 18 after Operator Abellio Greater Anglia has announced some slight changes to the timetable.
Some early morning Metro line services from Shenfield will leave a few minutes later while some Mainline services will leave five minutes earlier.
