ONE Eurovision entrant who is already fast becoming a household name is Austrian singer Conchita Wurst.
Affectionately dubbed 'the bearded lady' Conchita, born Tom Neuwirth, will perform her entry Rise Like a Phoenix on tonight's second semi-final, aired on BBC3.
The singer has become a national icon in her home country competing in talent show Die Große Chance and taking second place, and is a former member of boyband, Jetzt Anders.
Her poignant entry is seen as an anthem for people who are different, struggle with their identity or have suffered through discrimination.
