A man in his 40s was punched and knocked out before being robbed of his belongings.
The incident happened in Magdalen Street, Colchester at about 2pm on April 29.
When the man came round from the assault he found that his Sony Ericsson mobile phone and blue and white Timberland hooded top has been taken.
