A Shetland Pony roaming beside the A12 and slight delays on the railways are affecting commuters this morning. 7.24am Traffic is slow moving on the A12 southbound near junction 12 with Mountnessing.
On the A127, traffic is slow travelling westbound at junction 29 with the M25 in Romford.
As per usual, there is queuing traffic on the M25 clockwise at the QE2 bridge. 7.33am A Shetland Pony at the side of the road has closed one lane London-bound on the A12 between junction 15 at Margaretting and junction 13 at Ingatestone. 7.39am Traffic is queuing back on the A131 southbound in Braintree near Marks Farm Roundabout. 7.50pn Traffic is slow moving between Robjohns Road and Writtle Road on Westway in Chelmsford.
Similarly there are queues in Colchester Road in Chelmsford moving southbound between the Boreham Interchange and White Hart Lane. 8.10am The A128 Ongar Road in Brentwood moving southbound is busy at the A1023 High Street junction.
Traffic is also slow on the A1114 Van Dieman's Road northbound in Chelmsford at the Army and Navy roundabout. 8.24am There are slight delays on the Great Anglia railway lines. The 7.57am London Liverpool Street to Southend service, calling at Shenfield, is running seven minutes late.
The 8pm London Liverpool Street service arriving at Ipswich at originally 9.21am, and due to call at Chelmsford at 8.29am, is running five minutes late.
