POPSTAR Tulisa Contostavlos told a celebrity blogger to 'stop stalking me, your journey ends here' before punching him in the eye, a court has heard.
The 25-year-old singer, who is charged with assaulting blogger Savvas Morgan while they were both attending V-Festival in August last year, appeared for the start of the trial at Chelmsford Magistrates' court this morning.
She was joined by her personal assistant and co-defendant Gareth Varey who is alleged to have used threatening, abusive and insulting words in the same incident.
The attack allegedly took place after years of tension between the pair as a result of Mr Morgan re-publishing a sex tape of Tulisa and her boyfriend which was leaked to the media in 2012.
It is claimed by Mr Morgan, who flew in this morning from attending the Cannes Film festival, that he was attending the event on August 18 as a guest of performer Misha B.
Upon walking toward the exit at shortly after midnight that day he found himself walking directly behind a group which included former X-Factor judge Tulisa, and ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena whom he had met earlier that day and who beckoned to him to 'come party with us'.
"Tulisa said he's not coming with us very aggressively. She started walking backwards toward me followed by Varey," Mr Morgan told the court.
"She was just being really aggressive, she said stop stalking me, this is the end of your journey. I said I'm not trying to join your tour bus.
"Her hands were waving and she kept on moving around but also pushing people backwards, she was trying to handle the situation herself."
Mr Morgan went on to say that the singers' PA Varey was 'jumping around' and attempted to hit him before being pulled away and it was while the blogger was distracted by this that Tulisa, of Princess Park Manor, Royal Drive, London, hit him in the eye.
However the alleged victim was accused by Jeremy Dein QC of "stalking" the popstar and of being a "liar" as he gave his version of events.
Both defendants deny the charges against them.
The trial continues.
