Two police officers received minor injuries while attempting to arrest a man reportedly seen walking naked in Colchester.
Officers were called to St Peter's Street shortly before 11am today (June 2) following reports of a man walking naked in the road.
An Essex Police spokesman said the two officers were assaulted while the man was being detained.
He said: "A man in his 40s from Colchester was arrested on suspicion of assaulting police. He has been taken to hospital for treatment"
