A THIEF deceived employees at a Chelmsford beauty salon by asking to use their toilet, before using the opportunity to swipe phones, cards and cash from their staffroom.
During the incident at around midday on May 24 a woman of Asian appearance, between 20 and 40 years old, entered Mirabella Beauty Salon, on Moulsham Street with three others and asked to use their toilet.
She then used this opportunity to steal mobile phones, cash, bank cards and store cards from the staffroom to the value of £1,076.
It is thought one of the people with the suspect was called Maria but no CCTV is available to identify those involved.
