Fire crews responded to a wooden building on fire in Chelmsford last night.
The outbuilding, in Grove Road, was spotted alight at around 9.58pm, when the fire brigade were called.
Two engines from Chelmsford attended and crews wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to put out the blaze by 10.20pm.
Crews reported that the building was made of wood and used for storage.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but the fire service will carry out an investigation.
