A team of hardy hikers at a Braintree construction company is set to scale the heady heights of the three peaks to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The 15-strong group, at Tamdown High Rise, started its quest to conquer the 24.5 peak hills in Yorkshire on May 31, beating their 12 hour target by 90 minutes.
Next on the agenda is the national Three Peaks Challenge, which will take place on June 26 - with 26 miles that must be completed in 24 hours.
First they will tackle Ben Nevis, Fort William, Scotland, before a six hour drive takes them to Scarfell Pike in the Lake District.
They will then take the four hour drive to climb to Snowdon, north Wales.
The Tamdown High Rise team has been training in their spare time since February.
Managing director Andy Parton, said: "The team have put in a lot of hours for this challenge, but it's all worth while for this fantastic cause.
