Hollywood megastar Brad Pitt is not filming at Hanningfield Reservoir, it has been confirmed today.
Reports claimed he was there filming a sequel to zombie thriller World War Z on Tuesday (July 8), before stopping off at a branch of Wimpy in Billericay to enjoy a £6.35 cheeseburger meal.
But a spokesman for Essex and Suffolk Water, which runs the site at Hanningfield, said the 50-year-old star had not been on site.
Meanwhile businesses in Billericay have also cast doubt over whether or not the 50-year-old husband of Angelina Jolie had actually visited the High Street
Cath Thwaites, landlord at the Chequers on the High Street, said: "I think someone has seen something online from a couple of years ago
"The sequel of World War Z is only being written."
Meanwhile, other businesses when contacted, were unable to confirm one way or the other whether he had been in Billericay.
