The M11 motorway has been closed in both directions following a serious road collision involving a lorry and several cars
The accident happened on the M11 near Harlow. following reports of a crash which has blocked the southbound carriageway
Officers were called at about 3.30pm today, Thursday July 10, between Junctions 7 and 6.
The northbound carriageway is also being closed for the arrival of an air ambulance.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area for the next few hours.
