What do the names Valdik and Hetti have in common? They're localised versions of Martin Handford's beloved cartoon character famous for hiding in big crowds of people! On Thursday 26th June theTTC wetranslate Team took part in the Birkett's Race for Business 2014. Donning a uniform of red, white and blue in order to become their very own versions of the elusive cartoon characters from Martin Handford's children's books.
The race was in support of Havens Hospices a non-NHS, charity-funded organization incorporating both Fair Havens and Little Havens Hospice which look after terminally ill patients of every age. With the slogan of 'Making every day count' the charity tries to make their patient's lives as comfortable and fulfilling as possible.
