Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin will remain at St Mary's, according to chairman Ralph Krueger - despite reports he was headed for Tottenham.
Arsenal were also interested in the £27million man but were put off by his hefty price tag.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino wanted to take the midfielder and striker Jay Rodriguez with him to Spurs.
Schneiderlin took to Twitter to spell out his reaction.
