A woman is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after she was injured in yesterday's collision on the northbound M11.
The 26-year-old victim, from Margate, was flown to the Royal London Hospital when her Mitsubishi Shogun struck a tree shortly after colliding with a silver Citroen C5 estate at around 11.30am on August 3
The northbound track of motorway was closed to allow the air ambulance to land to take the casualty to hospital and for forensic collision investigators to gather evidence, causing lengthy delays
Anyone with information should contact Pc Paul Lindup at Chigwell Road Policing Unit on Essex Police 101.
