KEITH Wilson admitted he has got some tough decisions to make ahead of Heybridge Swifts' Ryman One North opener on Saturday.
Swifts travel to Soham Town Rangers to kick-off their campaign this weekend after a decent pre-season under their belts.
But with 15 league games to play before September is finished, Wilson knows that keeping his players fresh is key.
He said: "Now I have got the headache of picking a squad of 16 that can go there and get a result. It will be hard as there will be four or five players not even getting changed on Saturday.
"Everyone wants to play that first league game but it is a 42 game season, there are so many games. Especially in the first two months, we need the majority of people available as often as possible."
Soham finished eighth in the Ryman One North last season, but Wilson admits he is not quite sure what to expect from the Cambridge outfit.
Wilson added: "You don't really know the individuals as they are so far away and it's not like the local clubs where the players do the rounds. I think they will set up in a certain formation, but we can't be too worried about what they are going to do. We just have to do the best we can and play our own way and then see as the game goes on."
