Manchester City's Jack Rodwell has completed a move from the Manchester side to Sunderland.
The English midfielder has signed an undisclosed fee of around £10 million for a 5-year deal. This deal ends Rodwell's two injury-affected years at city, where he only played seven Premier League games since joining from Everton for £12 million.
His prospects of first-team football with Manchester City were blowing away further when City signed midfielder Fernando from Porto earlier this summer.
Jack Rodwell, who has three England caps, is Sunderland's fifth close-season signing and follows Jordi Gomez, Billy Jones, Patrick van Aanholt and former City team-mate Costel Pantilimon to Sunderland.
