Singer songwriter Ed Sheeran will be one of the main highlights at this year's V Festival when he performs in Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Friday.
The multi-award winning superstar, who recently released his second album X, which has topped the charts for six weeks in UK - after heading the US Billboard chart, will be on the Virgin Media stage after Example and before the headliner, Justin Timberlake.
His career has rocketed since the success of his first single, the A Team, and since then, he has racked up numerous awards, including Brit Awards and an Ivor Novello Award for his first album.
He is well-known in the US as the warm-up for Taylor Swift, having guested on her Red Tour when it hit London's o2 arena in April. He is due on stage at around 7.40pm on Saturday, August 16.
