A MAN has appeared in court charged with robbing a taxi driver in Chelmsford.
In July Billy Leftwich, of Ongar Road, Writtle, was charged over the incident that happened on April 19 in Writtle Road, Chelmsford.
The 29-year-old appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Tuesday (August 8).
Leftwich did not enter a plea and his case was sent to be heard at Chelmsford Crown Court on October 27.
