There may be eight days to go but forecasters are now turning their attention to next weekend and the V Festival in Chelmsford.
Although changes are likely, it is currently predicted both Saturday and Sunday will be a cloudy affair.
But campers may still want to pack their wellies, as rain is expected on Friday.
Showers are also likely on Wednesday of next week too.
Forecasters suggest temperatures will peak at a pleasant 20C on both V days, with overnight lows of 13C.
