A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a woman who said she met her attacker at Candy Club in Chelmsford.
The 21-year-old, from Harrow was initially arrested by the Metropolitan Police on November 14,
He was then also arrested by Essex Police officers when he attended Chelmsford police station yesterday (December 5).
The alleged attack took place in Chelmsford on New Year's Day this year.
The suspect has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until June 4, 2015.
