A man whose body was discovered floating near the mouth of the River Crouch near Burnham has been identified as Stephane Loic Cogez from France.
The 38-year old, who was from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, was discovered by passing yachtsmen on November 27.
He was wearing a wetsuit when he was discovered.
An inquest opening into the death is due to take place at Essex Coroners' Court in Chelmsford tomorrow (December 9).
