Edinson Cavani has reportedly asked Paris Saint-Germain to lower his transfer value of £50 million to force through a move to Arsenal.
Cavani is said to be frustrated by the lack of opportunities he's had to play down the middle of the PSG attack with coach Laurent Blanc favouring Zlatan Ibrahimovic in that position.
Instead he has been played out wide and it is believed that he favours a move to Arsenal to be the focal point in attack and has previously admitted his admiration of Chilean Alexis Sanchez.
PSG will unlikely lower the asking price dramatically and it would be a huge shock for a move to materialise in January but, with the promise of a central role, the Uruguayan could try to force through a move.
