Poundland has already caught the eye with its Make up Gallery perfume range, with stock flying off the shelves in time for Christmas
But it might have dropped the ball with its set of Christmas cards.
One of its packs, which presumably aspired to read 'Hark the Herald Angels', was spotted with an unfortunate spelling error.
Sharp-eyed shopper CallMeCull on Twitter spotted the "angles" gaffe and quickly posted
A Poundland spokesman said: "We are aware of a very small number of products from our extensive Christmas range with incorrect spelling.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are inviting customers to return the relevant product for a refund or to exchange it for one of the many other amazing value items available at Poundland this Christmas.
