Road accidents in Chelmsford are causing traffic jams in and around the city this morning (December 18).
A two-vehicle accident on an A12 London-bound lane close to junction 18 at Sandon, reported on Twitter by the Highways Authority at about 7.45am, is causing traffic to queue back to the Boreham Interchange.
Traffic is queuing around the Boreham Interchange from vehicles trying to access the A12.
Similarly a two-vehicle accident on the A130 northbound has blocked the outside lane between the Rettendon Turnpike and the Howe Green junction with the A12.
