A man has been arrested in connection with the reported sexual assault of a teenage girl in Colchester.
The incident is alleged to have taken place in Lexden Road just before 1am on Tuesday (December 23).
The 47-year-old suspect was detained today in relation to the incident and has been taken to Colchester police station for questioning.
