CHRISTMAS has come early for Witham's very own Olly Murs as he reached number one in the charts for the fourth time.
The former X Factor runner up was overjoyed as his single Troublemaker hit the top spot on Sunday evening.
Topping off a successful day for the Essex born and bred star, Olly also announced that he will be going on tour with ex-Take That star Robbie Williams in 2013, with London dates in June.
To his 3,000,000-plus followers on Twitter, he said on Monday: "CrazyDAY!! Number 1 single, album out & now announced doing @robbiewilliams stadium tour next year!! Christmas has come early!!"
He added: "I can finally say... Been hard keeping it a secret!! Going on tour with @robbiewilliams next year!! Buzzzzzzzing!! What an honour!!"
According to the Official Charts Company, which gathers data on all music sales, Troublemaker, which also features the American star Flo Rida, sold 121,000 copies in its first week of being released.
It follows on from his previous number ones Please Don't Let Me Go, Heart Skips A Beat and Dance With Me Tonight.
Last time Olly reached number one, he told the Chronicle: "The support from Essex has been second to none."
