A man punched a woman in the face as he tried to steal her handbag in Chelmsford.
The 21-year-old woman from Ingatestone was walking along the Bunny Walks near the Rivermead Industrial Estate at about 10.30pm on January 2.
A man attempted to snatch her handbag and following a struggle punched her in the face.
The suspect gave up and ran off empty handed.
He is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, aged 21 to 40-years-old, wearing a dark jacket with the hood up and blue jeans.
