A police investigation is under way after a teenager was attacked by two men in Colchester, after they made a move to grab his friend.
The 15-year-old victim was walking along Affleck Road with a 14-year-old girl at around 9pm on Saturday (January 17).
Essex Police said two men grabbed the girl's arm and threatened her. The boy was then assaulted and was left with a bruised face and grazed hand.
They left the scene in a grey Ford Transit van.
