ONE of the city's best known cafes has changed its name in honour of Chelmsford's new status.
Starburger in High Chelmer has re-branded itself City Diner.
The restaurant, which has been serving burgers at the top of Exchange Way for 24 years, has undergone what owner Ali Houri calls a much-needed refurbishment.
Mr Houri said: "We decided in honour of Chelmsford's new status as a city to rename our restaurant at the same time as a refurbishment."
