A TERRIFIED mother and her four-year-old daughter were threatened with a gun when three men broke into their house.
The three robbers forced their way into the victim's home in School Lane, Broomfield.
The woman, who is in her 20s, and her daughter, were threatened as the gang demanded cash and valuables.
The men, who were looking for the woman's partner, were in the house for 30 minutes before fleeing with a three-figure sum of money, two mobile phones, an air rifle and jewellery.
The robbery took place at about 1am on November 6.
Investigating officer PC Joanna Barnes said: "This was an extremely frightening ordeal.
"The man in the e-fit was brandishing a small silver or grey handgun which he held at the woman's head and also pointed it at the child.
"Both the woman and daughter were severely distressed by the ordeal and the family has now moved away from the area for good."
The armed man was thought to be in his late 30s or 40s and had short brown hair and stubble. He was wearing a navy blue zip-up jacket and navy woollen hat.
