Michael Frank Jewellers in The Broadway, Wickford, has been named the best wedding ring retailer in the county at the Essex Wedding Awards.
The shop, which has a workshop in the famous jewellery district of Hatton Garden, London, was picked as the winner at an awards ceremony at Five Lakes, Maldon.
Michael Stapleton, who has owned the shop for three years, said: "We were nominated for the award by customers and then had to put together a pack for the judging panel, including customer reviews, samples of our rings, plus information on how we look after our brides and grooms and what makes us different from the competition.
"We try to go the extra mile for all of our customers.
"We build a good relationship with them as we are general jewellers and do not just deal with wedding rings, so we find they come back time and again over the years for eternity rings and other jewellery.
"We do not just say goodbye once they've picked up their wedding rings.
"It's absolutely fantastic to have won this award. We could not have done it without our whole team who all work really hard."
The awards were judged by representatives from Coast, House of Fraser and BHS, as well as the Federation for Small Businesses.
The winners of categories ranging from best venue to best DJ were presented with glass trophies.
