Investigations are under way into the 'unexplained' deaths of two guests at the Down Hall County House Hotel on Saturday.
A man, who was in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were found submerged in the hotel's swimming pool at around 7.35pm. They were later pronounced dead at the scene.
Post-mortem examinations are due to take place today to determine the cause of death.
The victims are believed to be from London.
The investigation is in the hands of officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
