A number of roads will be closed in and around Chelmsford city centre to coincide with the royal visit on May 6.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will visit Chelmsford Cathedral to mark the centenary of Chelmsford Diocese before heading to Felsted School in Dunmow.
Chelmsford City Council has confirmed the occasion will cause some localised, temporary disruption in the city centre from 6am to 1pm.The following roads will be affected
- Waterloo Lane
- Duke Street
- Tindal Square
- New Street
