Olly Murs turns 30: Witham singer thanks fans for birthday wishes

Former X Factor star Olly Murs has reached something of a milestone today - his 30th birthday. The singer, who is originally from Witham but who now lives in Toot Hill, thanked his followers for their wishes, and admitted he marked it with a boozy bender on the continent.

He later wrote: "Thanks for all the tweets already for my birthday!! "Silly sod I'm getting all emotional seeing them!! Old age aye best fans!! Haha" His last album, Right Place, Right Time, was released in November, and he was nominated for the Brits in February.
