AN IMAGE of a man who tried to force a front door of a flat in Witham but was disturbed by a woman who was inside at the time has been released by police.
The incident at Carraways, Witham, where the owner of a flat found a man attempting to break in by trying to open an outside door with an old key, at around 9am on May 8.
When challenged by the owner the offender then ran off.
Investigating officer DC Rebecca Kidby said: "The victim thinks this is a good Efit image and we hope that someone in the local area may recognise him".
