A successful event saw dozens of athletes swim, cycle and swim their way in Hanningfield Reservoir's first ever triathlon today.
The event, organised by Essex and Suffolk Water, was being organised as a trial run, with the possibility of bigger events in the future.
Organiser Craig Holliday said: "It went without a hitch, everyone got out of the water fine and we didn't have any incidents.
"It has been a great day, the weather was good and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves.
"The event couldn't have happened without the marshals and the help from Blackwater Triathlon Club."
The event is hoped to have raised around £2,000 for the charity Water Aid.
