AN accident involving two cars and two lorries has blocked the A12 westbound this morning.
The accident happended at around 7am between junction 21, with the B1389 at Witham south and junction 20a, at Hatfield Peverel south.
There is currently queuing traffic on the A12 westbound carriageway and backed up in The Street in Hatfield Peverel and long delays are expected.
Further down the A12, southbound there is also slow moving traffic between junction 13 at Ingatestone at the B1002 and junction 12 at Shenfield.
It is also gridlock on the A12 Londonbound after an accident involving three vehicles between between junctions 20 and junction 19 at the Boreham Interchange - reports are now that the carriageway is closed southbound.
The A120 is currently slow on Coggeshall Road southbound in Braintree between Marks Farm Roundabout and Galley's Corner.
There's slow traffic on the M11 southbound between junction 5, at the A1168 with Loughton and junction 4, at the A406, Woodford.
Heavy traffic on M25 clockwise at the QE2 Bridge is causing congestion to junction 31 to Thurrock Services.
The A13 Londonbound between North Stifford and Lakeside is also suffering from delays.
As is the A127 Southend Arterial Road Londonbound between Nevendon and Halfway House.
The A134 Southway near Magdalen Street in Colchester is now clear at the A137 St Botolph's Circus junction after an earlier blockage.
