Police want to identify the woman pictured above in connection with theft from Mr Simms sweet shop in Chelmsford.
A woman reportedly went into the store on Springfield Road, with by a young child, selected items for the child to take before leaving without making an attempt to pay for them.
This is alleged to have happened between 3.45pm and 4.15pm on Thursday, April 24.
