MOTORISTS heading Londonbound on thee A127 South End Arterial Road face long dlays this morning.
Reports suggest traffic is slow moving between a number of junctions.
Delays can be expected between Rayleigh Weir (A129) and the Fairglen Interchange (A130/A1245), Prince Avenue and Kent Elms Corner, and from Nevendon Interchange (A132) to Noak Bridge (A176).
While roadworks hold up journeys between the Halfway House (A128) and the M25 at junction29.
In Chelmsford there are queues along Westway (A1016) with traffic at a crawl from Robjohns Road and Writtle Road.
On the southbound Colchester Road(A130) there is slow moving traffic from the blocked up Boreham Interchange to White Hart Lane (Sainsbury's Roundabout).
It is a similar picture on the southbound A120 through Braintree between Marks Farm Roundabout and Galley's Roundabout.
