Chelmsford City have refuted allegations that their 3-0 defeat to Havant & Waterlooville last season was fixed.
A report by gambling fraud taskforce Federbet listed 11 English matches among 110 matches across Europe that they believe were fixed – and it included the Clarets' 3-0 defeat to Havant & Waterlooville in November.
The taskforce flags up any game with suspicious betting patterns, and have told the Chronicle that an unusual amount of money being placed on the game led to the suspicions.
They presented their findings to the European Parliament on Tuesday, with three Conference South games in total on their "fix list".
But the club, in a statement released exclusively to the Chronicle, have insisted there is no grounding for the claims.
They said: "As far as Chelmsford City FC are concerned there is no substance to the allegations made by Federbet that our game against Havant was fixed.
"The FA have made no contact with us regarding any irregularities with this match, but the club is happy to help the FA with any enquiries into this matter."
The Clarets had lost their previous three league games without scoring and had just one away win all season before the trip to Westleigh Park in November.
