Essex Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a large brawl near Rowhedge village hall on Saturday evening.
The disturbance took place on June 14 after the villages annual regatta at around 6pm in the village hall car park on Rectory Road.
Officers received reports that there were around 100 youths fighting and attended the scene to restore order.
Three arrests were made with two police officers injured during the incident.
One suffered damage to his shin after being kicked and the other received hand injuries.
Officers have now also received information that a 16-year old boy, who lives in Rowhedge, suffered a broken wrist during the incident.
Ds Nick Eliot, of Colchester CID, said: "This incident happened following the local annual regatta at Rowhedge . A large number of young people had gathered in the field and were consuming alcohol.
"Another incident took place just before where some young men were seen fighting near the basketball court.
"One of them received a broken wrist."
"We believe people may have filmed the incident on their mobile phones or taken photos. I would urge anyone that does have any footage to get in touch with officers at Colchester CID. We are carrying out house to house enquiries in the local area."
Chief Inspector Richard Phillibrown, District Commander for Colchester, said: "This is a one off incident and I would urge local residents not to be concerned.
"We will be working with the organisers of the event to put some measures in place to try and reduce the risk of this happening in the future."
Anybody with any footage of the incident or who has information about what happened is asked to contact Colchester CID on Essex Police 101.
People can also leave information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
