Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning to make sure his side are at the front of the queue to sign Mario Mandzukic ahead of Arsenal.
The Croat - who announced himself on the World Cup stage with a brace against Cameroon this week - has been targeted by a number of clubs after falling out of favour at Bayern Munich.
Arsenal have long been among the front runners, but German side Wolfsburg are now in pole position.
However, Mourinho has now set his sights on Mandzukic, and is planning to get Wolfsburg out of the running by letting them have Romelu Lukaku at a discounted price.
And then he will reportedly swoop for Mandzukic as he looks to completely restructure his frontline for next season.
Lukaku has also been linked with Arsenal and Spurs after his impressive season at Everton.
